Infrared Home Inspection

Infrared Home Inspection

Our team inspects every nook and cranny of your house to find any potentially harmful issues. In order to see even further and take a look at what lies beneath the surface, we use infrared technology. With our infrared cameras, we can also measure the surface temperature. This helps us identify any abnormalities within building materials, all without having to tear apart your home.

Through our infrared home inspections, we can detect many issues that can potentially harm your home:

  • Heat loss and air infiltration in walls, ceilings, floors, windows, and doors
  • Damaged and/or malfunctioning radiant heating systems
  • Air-conditioner compressor leaks
  • Under-fastening and/or missing framing members, and other structural defects that can lead to energy loss
  • Broken seals in double-paned windows
  • Plumbing leaks
  • Hidden roof leaks with recent rainfall
  • Missing, damaged and/or wet insulation
  • Water and moisture intrusion around penetrations and at the foundation and building envelope that could lead to structural damage and mold
  • Circuit breakers in need of immediate replacement
  • Overloaded and undersized circuits
  • Overheated electrical equipment and components
  • Electrical faults

** Every inspection comes with an infrared inspection.
